Stat Quo signs with former G-Unit President Sha Money XL to release his new album ‘Statlanta’
After being signed to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath label via Shady Records for over 5 years, Atlanta’s Stat Quo has entered into a new label situation with producer & former G-Unit President label Sha Money XL. Sha Money XL recently inked a multi-million dollar music & film distribution deal for his ‘Big Dream Ventures’. The new label venture will finally allow Stat Quo to release his anticipated ‘Statlanta’ album in January 2010. Statlanta was the album initially scheduled to drop as early on Shady/Aftermath back in prior to Stat Quo’s request to be released from the label. Sha Money XL also co-manages Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek, who together, are recognized as the group Reflection Eternal. Reflection Eternal also have an album due early 2010 as well.
